First impressions are important, and it seems Priyanka Chopra left a lasting impression on Nick Jonas during their first date. He remembers every detail of what she wore that night.

Vogue, which features the couple on the January cover, had the stars play the Newlywed Game. When asked what Chopra wore on the first date, the “Quantico” actress could only remember “pants and a tee,” but she knew Jonas’ memory would be clearer. The actor wrote, “Blue jeans. White tank. Black leather jacket. Hair parted down the middle, and a red lip, of course.”

The simple but trendy outfit was clearly memorable for the “Chains singer.” However, that was not the first time they met. They first crossed paths at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party. The first meeting obviously made an impression on Jonas. He got down on his knee and jokingly asked, “Where have you been all my life?”

It wasn’t just looks that got the couple together. Chopra was really impressed when the Jonas Brother complimented her work ethic. “As a girl, I’ve never had a guy tell me, ‘I like your ambition,’” Chopra told Vogue. “It’s always been the opposite.”

Chopra and Jonas got married over the weekend in a multi-day celebration with tons of celebrities in attendance. On Saturday, Jonas’ father married the two in a Christian ceremony. On Sunday, they had a traditional Hindu wedding.
