Will Meghan Markle Attend Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas’ Wedding?

Priyanka Chopra attended Meghan Markle’s royal wedding in May, but will the Duchess of Sussex be joining Chopra for her big day?

The “Quantico” alum and Nick Jonas reportedly got engaged at the end of July, although they didn’t officially announce it until mid-August. Now, they’ve been participating in some pre-wedding events and are expected to marry this weekend in India. But, unfortunately, the two will have to do so without Markle as a guest.

“Meghan isn’t trying to travel as much as she is pregnant,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “But Priyanka and Nick are extremely happy because their closest friends and family are in India to celebrate their marriage.”

The source continued: “Priyanka and Nick are now in Jodhpur, India, where they have begun their wedding weekend festivities. The couple arrived from Mumbai with their family and friends.”

Chopra and the “Suits” alum have been friends for a while, and she’ll surely feel her absence on her big day, but she has a lot of other things to focus on in the meantime.

“Priyanka and Nick will have many Hindu ceremonies over the weekend before they wed in a traditional Indian wedding,” the source told the outlet. “Also, the couple will be having a Christian wedding as well, and Priyanka has a different dress for that ceremony. Both Priyanka and Nick are accepting of each other’s religions and what ideals each other grew up with.”

Although the mother-to-be won’t be able to attend Chopra and Jonas’ wedding, the couple still have so much to look forward to in the coming days, and for the rest of their marriage.
