What Happened To Marina Joyce? YouTuber Apparently Whispers ‘Save Me’ Amid Abuse, Drug Rumors
Some people on the internet are seriously worried about fashion vlogger Marina Joyce. The British fashionista posted a new video Friday and apparently whispers “save me” in the first seconds of the clip, which is dubbed “Date Outfit Ideas.” In a long blog post on Just Paste It, one of her fans broke down the entire clip and exposed every apparent cry for help. Some fans were convinced she has been kidnapped and is being forced to make videos from her rumored prison.
“I have the feeling, along with many other people, that someone is forcing marina to make these videos (most likely her boyfriend, but it is possible that she could have been kidnapped.),” the blog post read. “Her eyes keep trailing off behind the camera and her body language makes her seem incredibly uncomfortable. Almost like she's repeating what someone else is doing. She can barely stand still, she's shaking, and her body appears stiff and wobbly.”
Another theory is that Joyce is on drugs. Many YouTubers complained her personality changed and that she has a far-away look in her videos. These symptoms are commonly associated with drug use. The person who created the Just Paste It page, with all the sections of the video where Joyce apparently cries for help, even noted she could be on drugs.
The hashtag #savemarinajoyce quickly became a top-trending Twitter topic Tuesday. It garnered more than 34,000 tweets at the time this story was written.
“She keeps repeating herself, inhaling a lot, and blinking her eyes a lot more than normal which could very well be the side effects of a drug called speed,” the page, written by an anonymous author, read. “She even told people to stop saying that she's ‘on anything’ because she claims to be sober.”
Joyce hasn’t responded to the controversy on her Twitter page. The last thing she wrote read: “Family member: ‘What are you doing with your life?’ Me: ‘It’s a surprise.’”
