What Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Harry, Meghan Did In Scotland
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles reportedly spent five days with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Scotland.
According to Us Weekly, the royal couples stayed at the Castle of Mey in Caithness, Scotland, and it was Prince Harry and Markle’s first time to go there.
“Charles and Camilla deeply care for Harry and Meghan, and with all that has been going on with Meghan’s family, they wanted to get them out of the city and to the coast of Scotland,” a source said.
The source added that amid Markle and her dad Thomas Markle’s ongoing feud and drama, the former actress returned to London feeling restored after her five-day vacation.
“It’s beautiful at the castle, with amazing views of Orkney Islands. It was five days of time outdoors, long walks, good food and quality family time,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also vacationed with George and Amal Clooney recently. The two couples went to Lake Como earlier this month.
“The Clooneys had personally invited Meghan and Harry to their home at the beginning of the summer with an open invitation. George and Amal were so happy to host Meghan and Harry. Harry and George have a special bond and friendship,” the source said.
In related news, Markle is reportedly in Toronto, Canada at the moment. She embarked on the personal trip without Prince Harry by her side. After Toronto, Markle will be heading to the United States to reunite with her mom, Doria Ragland, and some of her friends.
While there, Markle isn’t expected to meet her dad. The 74-year-old former lighting director has been slamming her, Prince Harry, and the royal family during his tell-all interviews. He most recently compared the royal family to Scientologists and said that it’s because they are very secretive.
Thomas also called Prince Harry rude and said that he hung up on the 33-year-old prince during their last phone conversation.
