What Twitter Users Say About Michelle, Barack Obama’s Family After Thanksgiving Photo
Many miss Barack and Michelle’s Obamas’ family.
The former first lady of the United States shared a sweet family photo on Thanksgiving. The snap was reportedly taken in May before Sasha, then a high school senior, and weeks away from turning 18, left for her prom. The adorable picture reminded many that they already miss the Obamas.
“OMG We Miss You So Much! What a gorgeous family You Are Loved! Happy Thanksgiving Obama Family!” one netizen wrote as she retweeted the photo.
“Happy thanksgiving! The USA and world miss the Obama family and the grace, dignity, and thoughtfulness that once filled the White House! ” another user said about the family.
Several also praised the Obama family saying they were “beautiful” and “stunning.” Another Twitter user described them the “Great and loving Obama family.”
Others praised the whole family for being “ridiculously good looking.” The social media user added, “remember having a president that didn’t actively embarrass and ruin the country? *Sigh*”
A few months ago, there were rumors that Michelle and Barack’s marriage was on the rocks. A source alleged that the couple wanted to part ways amid “screaming matches over money and out of control kids.”
However, Barack debunked the rumors by penning a warm birthday greeting for Michelle’s mom, Marian Robinson on Facebook. In his post, the former POTUS praised his mother-in-law for not only being there for Michelle and their daughters, but for him too. Barack also highlighted Robinson’s “steadiness and perspective.“
Last month, Barack also praised his wife for sharing the Obama President Center’s vision in coming to the South Side. According to Barack, “no one says it better than @MichelleObama.”
Michelle is aware that many are looking up to her and Barack’s marriage. The former FLOTUS recognized that and shared some tips how she and Barack make their relationship last.
“There are a lot of young people who look at me and Barack ... and they think, ‘Oh, I want those #relationshipgoals,’ But I want young people to know that marriage is work. Even the best marriages require work,” Michelle said.
