What To Watch In October: List Of Shows, Movies Streaming On Disney Plus

October ushers in an exciting array of shows and movies on Disney Plus with its roster of Halloween programs.

The new shows include "Lego Star Wars: Terrifying Tales," "Scariest Story Ever: A Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular!" "The Ghost of Molly McGee," "Muppets Haunted Mansion," "Under Wraps" and "Mickey's Tale of Witches."

The streaming platform will also air new episodes of Marvel's "What If" and "Turner & Hooch" this month with their season 1 wrapping up on Oct. 6, according to Variety.

"What If" is an animated series based on Marvel comics of the same name. It is produced by Marvel Studios and is the 16th television series under the Marvel Cinematics Universe. Headwriter A.C. Bradley previously said the latest episode will reveal a "bigger plan" concerning the superheroes. He added that in the final episode of season 1, The Watcher (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) will learn important lessons about being a hero.

Classic favorites such as "Rookie Of The Year" and "Alvin And The Chipmunks" will also be streamed on Disney Plus, along with the box-office hit "Maleficent" starring Angelina Jolie.

Scarlett Johansson starrer "Black Widow" will also be available on the streaming platform this month after the actress reached a legal settlement with Disney Studios on Thursday. This follows a breach of contract lawsuit she filed against Disney Studios in July alleging that the studio sacrificed the film's box-office potential in order to boost Disney Plus subscriptions.
