What Will ‘DWTS’ Teams Perform For Week 5 Disney Routines?
The latest elimination on Season 27 of “Dancing With the Stars” proved that no one is safe from a dreaded elimination, and with that in mind, the remaining nine teams will give it their all on the most magical night of the season—Disney night.
The ABC reality competition series will feature the remaining pairs as they Foxtrot, Waltz, Charleston, Jazz, Jive, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, and perform Contemporary routines set to the famous songs from some of the most classic Disney films. At the end of the night, however, one team will no longer be feeling the magic, as they say goodbye to the competition following a combination of the judge’s scores and their viewer votes accrued from Week Four.
So what routines will the teams perform for this magical night? Here’s the dances set for Disney night, according to an ABC press release.
- Milo Manheim and Witney Carson (#TeamWitlo): After coming close to perfection with their trio routine, a perfect 30 will be in Milo and Witney’s sights as they perform a Quickstep to “Incredits 2” from “The Incredibles 2.”
- Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber (#TeamStickIt): After making their way to the top of the judge’s leaderboard for the first time, Mary Lou and Sasha won’t be looking to tumble back to the bottom. They’ll seek out the top spot with a Contemporary routine to “Reflection” from “Mulan.”
- Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten (#Team RenTen): Alexis and Alan will perform a Foxtrot to “Just Around The Riverbend” from “Pocahontas.”
- Juan Pablo di Pace and Cheryl Burke (#TeamChernando): Juan Pablo and Cheryl will seek their second perfect scores with a Viennese Waltz to “Gaston” from “Beauty and the Beast.”
- Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe (#Team Kevanna): After being last to be called safe in Week 4, Evanna and Keo will try to avoid that spot again, hoping to impress with a Jazz routine set to “When Will My Life Begin?” from “Tangled.”
- DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold (#TeamWaresOurMirrorball): DeMarcus and Lindsay will dance a Charleston to “A Star Is Born” from “Hercules.”
- John Schneider and Emma Slater (#TeamSuperDuke): John and Emma will perform a Quickstep as “I Wan’na Be Like You” from “The Jungle Book” plays in the background.
- Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess (#TeamBeautyandtheGeek): Bobby and Sharna will try to bring their best scores to the game with a Waltz to “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid."
- Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson (#TeamCHECKusOUT): After scoring only 15 points for their Trio routine, Jenna and Joe will attempt to finally score at least 20 points from the judges with their Jive to “Zero” from the upcoming “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
