What Will Happen In ‘The Bold Type’ Season 3 Finale?

“The Bold Type” isn’t over yet. The Freeform drama has one more Season 3 episode left, and it sounds like the finale will be a big one.

In episode 9, Jane (Katie Stevens) learned that Pinstripe (Dan Jeannotte) kissed another woman. He told her about it right away, but it isn’t clear what Jane will do. The promo video below makes it look like she will walk away from her boyfriend in the Season 3 finale, and it also sounds like it will distract her from her Scarlet success. “Jane deals with an emotional fallout amidst a career high,” the synopsis teases.

The Pamela Dolan (Laila Robins) piece was published online instead of in the print magazine, but it sounds like it’s going over well. Jacqueline (Melora Hardin), however, is always looking at what’s next. “When Jane and Jacqueline’s exposé makes an impact, Jacqueline takes a hard look at how she can make Scarlet an industry leader that practices what it preaches,” the summary notes.

Jacqueline has been at odds with Patrick (Peter Vack), the new head of digital, all season. Will her new vision for Scarlet include their strained relationship?

Elsewhere, Kat (Aisha Dee) will be dealing with the loss of the election. Adena (Nikohl Boosheri) is back in town, but Kat and her campaign manager, Tia (Alexis Floyd), have been hitting it off. It sounds like Kat may face her love triangle head on. “Kat makes a choice not to run from her problems anymore,” Freeform’s logline says.

The promo video is a bit more revealing. Kat is in bed with Tia and, later, Adena. The former says she sees a future with Kat while the latter admits she never stopped loving Kat. Watch the trailer for “The Bold Type” Season 3, episode 10 below:

That leaves Sutton (Meghann Fahy), who has been doing pretty well lately. Her design seminar is going well, and Richard (Sam Page) turned down a job across the country to be with her. However, it sounds like her final project will include a few twists.

“Sutton celebrates the end of her design seminar with a fashion show but surprises herself with the results,” the finale synopsis teases. The trailer above makes it clear that the pressure is on.

Should the finale end with a cliffhanger, fans can rest assured that “The Bold Type” isn’t over yet. Freeform renewed the series for a fourth season.
