What’s Next For The ‘Teen Wolf’ Cast After Series Finale?

“Teen Wolf” will come to an end Sunday night, but the series finale isn’t the last you’ll see of the actors. Most of the cast members of the MTV drama are already working on exciting new projects.

Tyler Posey — The Scott McCall actor is following in the footsteps of Colton Haynes, Daniel Sharman and Adelaide Kane by going to The CW. He will be taking on comedy this fall when guest stars on “Jane the Virgin.” Posey, 25, is also finally playing an adult rather than a teenager. He plays Adam, Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) first love and a comic book artist. He’ll be in several episodes of the series.

Posey also has three films set to come out in 2018: comedy film “Taco Shop,” horror movie “Truth or Dare” and action flick “Decoy.”

Dylan O’Brien — The star has been balancing TV and movies for a while, but for the foreseeable future, it looks like the Stiles actor is sticking to the big screen. O’Brien currently stars in “American Assassin,” an action movie about a man who lost his love to terrorists and decides to fight back. He’ll also wrap up the “Maze Runner” franchise when “The Death Cure” hits theaters Jan. 26. O’Brien recently said he plans to slow down a little bit and give himself some time to relax between projects.

Holland Roden — After playing Lydia for six seasons, Roden will stick with creepy roles. She will appear in “Lore,” an anthology series on Amazon based on Aaron Mahnke’s podcast of the same name. The program reveals how scary legends are based in truth. “Lore” premieres on Amazon Oct. 13.

In 2018, Roden will star as a lead in another horror anthology series, “Channel Zero.” This time, she’ll play a woman struggling with mental illness whose older sister is forced to take care of her. The series will air next year on Syfy.

Shelley Hennig — The Malia actress has already been hard at work on several films, and she’ll be showing off her comedic chops. First up is the romantic comedy “When We First Met,” which also stars Robbie Amell and Alexandra Daddario. She’ll appear in “The After Party” alongside Blair Underwood, Wiz Khalifa and Teyana Taylor as well. The hip-hop comedy is set to hit Netflix next year.

Hennig is also working on a new TV series, “Liberty Crossing.” The drama will follow a young intelligence analyst working at the National Counter Terrorism Center. It will premiere on go90 later this year.

Dylan Sprayberry — After playing the youngest pack member, Sprayberry will stick with thrilling adventures. He’ll be in the horror movie “The Malibu Tapes,” due out March 18.

Cody Christian — Theo is kind of part of the pack at this point, right? In any case, it looks like Christian scored a fun role post-“Teen Wolf.” The actor will appear in “Assassination Nation,” a drama about four teenage girls who find themselves at the center of a media circus after hackers leak personal information. Bella Thorne, Suki Waterhouse, Joel McHale and Bill Skarsgård also star in the movie, which does not have a release date.

Tyler Hoechlin — Though Derek was only around for a few episodes of the final season, he was an integral member of the pack. When he wasn’t on “Teen Wolf,” he was busy filming movies. Next year, he’ll star alongside Nina Dobrev and Maisie Williams in the romantic drama “Departures.” In next year’s “The Domestics,” Hoechlin and Kate Bosworth play a married couple fighting to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Also out next year is “Bigger,” which reunites Hoechlin with Colton Haynes. The film follows the grandfathers of the fitness movement.
