Watch The Best ‘Teen Wolf’ Stiles And Lydia Moments Before Series Finale

Sunday’s “Teen Wolf” series finale will be bittersweet. While the end is sad, there are still certain things fans are looking forward to, such as reunions between fan favorite characters.

Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) will finally return to the MTV drama for the last episode, and he’ll reunite with Lydia (Holland Roden) in the beginning of the hour. Before we see them come back together to take on the hunters and the Anuk-Ite, let’s look back on some of their best moments.

The First Kiss — Stiles and Lydia kissed long before they got together. In Season 3, Stiles started having a panic attack, but Lydia knew that if she could surprise him, he’d be distracted and calm down. Her first idea to shock him? A romantic kiss.

The Bear Trap — After stepping on a bear trap, Lydia was in trouble, and Stiles was the only one around to save her. With the nogitsune messing with his head, Stiles thinks he can’t read the warning label to disarm the trap. Lydia has to convince him that he can do this.

Lydia Isn’t Crazy — Before she figured out that she was a banshee, Lydia didn’t really know what was happening to her or why. Stiles, however, was sure to support her theories and leads, even if she couldn’t provide much evidence.

This Season 3 scene also features Stiles wrapping a red string around Lydia’s hand. Many “Teen Wolf” fans held onto this as a reference to the “red thread of fate,” a Chinese legend that says lovers are bound together by an invisible cord that cannot be broken.

Escape From Eichen House — By Season 5, Lydia didn’t often need saving. She’s a butt-kicking banshee, but after being experimented upon in Eichen House, Stiles came to her rescue.

Lydia Remembers Stiles — Though Stiles saves Lydia often, she isn’t a damsel. She does the same for him. In Season 6A, Stiles was erased from everyone’s memories, but Lydia was the only one who knew someone was missing. She was first to remember him.

The Reunion — After remembering Stiles, Lydia can’t help but regret not having time to say “I love you too.” As soon as Stiles comes back through the rift, he tells her that he already knows, and they share a romantic kiss.

Surely, the “Teen Wolf” series finale will add another moment or two to this list. A sneak-peek video from the final episode already revealed that Stiles will return early on with Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) to help take out the hunters, who were last seen attacking the pack. However, Stiles won’t be happy that his girlfriend and his closest friends kept this war with the hunters a secret.

A video clip from TVLine shows Stiles freaking out after Derek and Peter chase the hunters away. “I can’t believe you didn’t tell me about any of this,” he says. “Not a word. Not a single word.”

“We had reasons. Really good reasons,” Lydia says. Watch the series finale clip below:
