What’s In Taco Bell's New Taco Lover’s Pass?
The Taco Lover’s Pass, available beginning Thursday, allows Taco Bell customers one taco a day for 30 days from the pass-specific menu.
The new program allows the pass to be bought on the Taco Bell app, which can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. Pass users can get any featured taco — one per day — for 30 days from the time of purchase through a one-time subscription payment.
Customers can choose between a Crunchy Taco, Crunchy Taco Supreme, Soft Taco, Soft Taco Supreme, Doritos Locos Tacos, Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, and the Spicy Potato Soft Taco from the menu -- all of which are included in the subscription.
Users can select the taco they are craving from the pass-specific menu. In September, Taco Bell tested the Taco Lover’s Pass at 17 locations in Tucson, Arizona.
Depending on the chosen participating location, the price of the pass will vary, but should be around $10 a month for most users. Users will have to handle paying for any add-ons to a meal, including ingredient substitutions (baring swapping protein for beans, or similar actions) or upgrades.
The Taco Lover’s pass is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value — regardless of whether customers use the pass. Users cannot combine it with other Taco Bell offers.
The pass is the latest effort from Taco Bell to think outside the box in its promotions. In 2021, the Yum Brands fast-food chain also collaborated with Lil Nas X, making him a Chief Impact Officer. He is a former Taco Bell employee at a location in Atlanta in 2017. Taco Bell also focused on reducing the waste created by used sauce packets, announcing a plan to “reuse used sauce packets.”
