When Is Amazon Prime Day 2021? Dates, Early Deals, Membership Details, And More
Amazon (AMZN) has announced that it is once again holding it annual two-day Prime Day sale this June – a departure from the delayed sale held in October 2020 due to the pandemic.
Amazon Prime Day 2021 will take place on June 21 at midnight PDT through June 22, offering two days to save on over 2 million deals across the e-commerce site on products that range from fashion to electronics to toys, home décor, automotive products, and more.
Prime Day is open only to members in the U.S., U.K., United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Spain, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Brazil, Belgium, Austria, and Australia.
To take part in Prime Day, shoppers need to have a Prime membership with Amazon. Memberships cost $12.99 a month or $119 a year. There is also a 30-day free trial to start.
Plus, Amazon promises deals and promotions that are already underway.
To start, Amazon is offering a $10 credit to members that spend $10 on select U.S. small business products and brands in Amazon’s store from June 7 to 20. The credit can be spent during Prime Day, and earned on brands that include Amazon Handmade and Amazon Launchpad.
Customers can also search for eligible products for the $10 credit on Alexa by saying, “Alexa, shop small business.”
On June 7, Amazon will also feature a live shopping experience with Kristen Bell, Karamo Brown, and Mindy Kaling, who will shop alongside their favorite small business owners in a spot called Amazon Live, highlighting curated deals.
Shoppers will also have the chance to earn 10% cashback with their Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card or Amazon Prime Store card.
Deals consumers can take advantage of now on Amazon include savings on JBL headphones, Fire TVs, toys and games from Barbies, Fisher-Price toys, LEGOs, Hasbro, Radio-Flyers, Magna-Tiles, and Paw Patrol.
Home products are also on sale, including Margaritaville blenders, 25% off GoWise air fryers, and 30% off Le Creuset products. Shark and Bissel robotic vacuums, Levoit and Toshiba air purifiers also have deals.
PetSafe products are offered with saving on Amazon now as well as tools from Dewalt, Z Grills Wood Pellet Grill and Smokers. There is 20% off ecobee products and savings on everyday essentials such as Scott, Kleenex, and Wypall products.
Shoppers can also cash in on book discounts for Kindle and Amazon Music Unlimited deals, as well as Prime Gaming savings. There is also currently deals on Audible and Wondery+.
Shares of Amazon were trading at $3,225.31 as of premarket hours on Wednesday, up $6.66, or 0.21%.
