When Is ‘Counting On’ Coming Back? Fate Of Duggar Series Teased Before Finale

Just as fans of the Duggars were welcomed back into their family, it is time for TLC viewers to once again say goodbye to the Arkansas brood.

Monday’s episode of “Counting On” will serve as a season finale. While the upcoming episode will be a big one, showing the long-awaited wedding of Joe Duggar and Kendall Caldwell, the episode is also bittersweet for fans as TLC has yet to announce if they’re renewing the program for a new season.

“As of right now, a new season has not been announced,” the Duggar Family Blog, which is run by friends of the reality family, recently shared. “We will let you know as soon as it is.”

The one-hour episode, which kicks off at 9 p.m. EDT, will follow Joe and Kendra as they get married in front of family and friends. The synopsis reveals there may even be a “few surprises in store for the happy couple” on their big day.

The network will air an encore of the episode, titled “Joseph’s Wedding,” at 11 p.m. EDT for those who missed the first showing on Monday night or for those who simply want to watch the emotional event again.

Ahead of the episode’s premiere, TLC has released a sneak peek of the installment on-demand and on TLC GO. A video of Kendra gushing about her wedding dress has also been released on TLC’s YouTube page.

“The top is sparkly… and its got cap sleeves. The bottom of it is called horse braid. It’s not super poofy but it is pretty full,” Kendra said in the video of her bridal style. She added that her veil will also have a bit of sparkle in order to bring her look together.

As for her wedding hairstyle, Kendra said she was leaning towards a half-up, half-down design with curls. “It will be kind of out of the way and the veil will be able to stick in there,” she said. “Joe likes my hair down.”

“It was the fourth wedding dress I tried on and that was the one that I knew was it,” Kendra added of her shopping experience. “I think Joe is going to absolutely love the dress and so I’m kind of excited to see his reaction. I think its going to be good.”
