Don’t expect Busy Philipps to sing you a lullaby before bed this week. The E! late night host is off for the holidays, but “Busy Tonight” will be back in the new year.

New episodes of “Busy Tonight” return to E! on Monday, Jan. 7 at 11 p.m. EST.

To be fair, Busy probably needs not only a holiday break but time to recover after her epic phone call in the last episode of 2018. After less than two months on the air, the Oprah phone finally rang. Busy was in tears as soon as the ringing started. The veteran talk show host had a quick chat with the “Cougar Town” alum about harvest day, and Oprah congratulated Busy on her success.

“I’m so happy that you’re on late night,” Oprah said. “It’s so good to see a woman on late night!”

The conversation ended with Oprah inviting Busy to come to see her sometime. The host was still in tears when she brought guest Keke Palmer onto the couch.

“Busy Tonight” has welcomed plenty of A-listers in its short time on the air. Julia Roberts, Kim Kardashian, Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross and Tina Fey have all stopped by. The show will bring even more fun celeb interviews in 2019.

Remember, Busy won’t be on Sundays anymore. “Busy Tonight” recently shifted to a Monday through Thursday schedule after initially starting out as a Sunday through Wednesday program.
