“Fuller House” is coming back for a Season 5. Netflix

It’s official, Netflix’s “Fuller House” is coming back for a fifth season! The streaming service announced on Thursday that a Season 5 of the sitcom is on the way, but that it will be the show’s last.

The “Full House” spinoff, which focuses on widow DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) raising her three boys with the help of her sister, Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and her best friend, Kimmy (Andrea Barber). Season 1 of the series was released in 2016, and its most recent batch of new episodes, Season 4, came out at the end of 2018.

“It has been an amazing few years of family, laughter, love,” Netflix’s announcement video explains. “The farewell season of ‘Fuller House’ is coming!”

“We saved the best for last,” many of the cast members say at the end of the clip.

The exact number of episodes making up this new season hasn’t been announced yet, but Netflix did share some details about the 2019 premiere date for them. So, when does Season 5 of “Fuller House” come out? It’ll arrive this fall.

Until then, fans can rewatch the first four seasons of the show on Netflix, and they can hope that original “Full House” stars, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, finally take up the spinoff’s open offer of having them on as guest stars. It is the final season, after all.

All they need to say to the offer is, “You got it dude!”
