DC Universe is the new streaming service where “Titans” debuted Friday, but it doesn’t seem to be following the Netflix model of dropping an entire season to binge-watch at once. Instead, fans will have to wait a week for the next episode, and even longer for the remaining installments.

“Titans” Season 1, episode 2, titled “Hawk and Dove,” will release on Friday, Oct. 19 on DC Universe. (Warner Bros. TV declined to provide an exact release time.) One episode is expected to drop every Friday following until all episodes of Season 1 have been released.

In the series premiere, which debuted Oct. 12, viewers saw Robin/Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) meet Raven/Rachel (Teagan Croft) after her mother’s death. Once he saw what she did to an attacker, he knew that other cops wouldn’t be able to help her the way he can.

As indicated by the episode title, Season 2 will introduce Hawk/Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson) and Dove/Dawn Granger (Minka Kelly). The lovebirds are vigilantes fighting criminals in Washington, D.C. Robin will bring Raven to the heroes after they leave Detroit. Robin has a history with the couple, and one of them might not be thrilled that he shows up on their doorstep.

They’ll have bigger problems, though. Even more baddies are coming for Raven, and they’ll be even more dangerous.

As previously reported, Thwaites told International Business Times that Robin wants to help Raven because he can sympathize with her. “I think he sees in her a little piece of himself as a kid,” he told reporters at New York Comic Con. “[He] lost his parents and didn’t grow up with them, and I think he feels empathetic to that loss and decides to help her out because there’s no one else.”

“Titans” airs Fridays on DC Universe.
