When Does ‘This Is Us’ Come Back? See Season 4 Start Date
It’s been months since fans have had a good cry with the Pearson family, but fans should start stocking up on tissues now. It won’t be long until “This Is Us” Season 4 premieres.
The NBC drama will return in about a month. “This Is Us” Season 4 starts Sept. 24. It will maintain its Tuesday night timeslot at 9 p.m. EDT following the return of “The Voice.”
“This Is Us” fans know that each season premiere starts with the birthday. The Big Three will be celebrating their 39th birthday in the present. Will the final year of their thirties bring any big changes?
Photos (seen below) from the episode, titled “Strangers,” don’t reveal much. It looks like baby Jack is doing well with Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan). Meanwhile, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) are adjusting to life in Philadelphia after their big move.
The flashbacks will take viewers to Jack and Rebecca pre-children. It looks like Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) are on a dinner date, and it seems like it’s a fancy occasion. Is Jack meeting Rebecca’s parents for the first time? Viewers know Rebecca has a tense relationship with her mother, so meeting the parents might not be the smoothest night for the lovebirds.
Moore previously told Deadline that Jack and Rebecca’s storyline picks up shortly after they return from their California roadtrip where Rebecca was shot down by a record label. “Myself and Milo [characters], we’re picking up where we left off after that fateful road trip out to California,” Moore said in July. “We just arrived back in Pittsburgh and we’re trying to figure out how we move forward with our relationship and meet each other’s respective families.”
Fans can watch all the drama unfold when “This Is Us” returns with Season 4 in September.
