When Is Jill Dillard’s Due Date? ‘Counting On’ Star To Reveal Duggar Baby Details

Another Duggar baby will soon be joining the “Counting On” family. On Monday’s installment of the TLC reality series Jill and Derick Dillard will reveal the gender of their second baby.

While in-the-know fans have already been informed that Jill is due to welcome a baby boy named Samuel Scott Dillard, viewers will get to see how Jill announced the gender news to her family during the Season 2C episode.

Being that the show is behind on real life, Jill is much farther along in the pregnancy than the episode suggests. Jill is due to welcome her bouncing baby boy to join son Israel, 2, in just a few short weeks.

While Jill has not revealed her exact due date, she previously announced to People Magazine that she would be welcoming her baby in July. In late April, she hinted she was in her third trimester by writing on her blog that she was in the “home stretch” of her pregnancy.

“We are looking forward to the arrival of little Samuel Scott very soon,” the Dillards wrote in their most recent blog post. “Jill and baby have continued to check out well, and we appreciate your prayers for a great delivery.”

While the couple awaits their new addition, they’re enjoying their time as a family of three vacationing and soaking up moments with Israel. “My little baby! He’s so affectionate,” Jill gushed of her son on Instagram last week. “Can’t believe he is so big already!”

Jill and Derick have also been enjoying some alone time before baby No. 2 arrives. Late last month, the couple took a trip for their third wedding anniversary, writing on their blog, “We are so grateful to God for the last three years together and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together! The last couple days we were able to go to Branson, MO for a little anniversary/babymoon getaway! It was such a special time.”

The network’s synopsis for “A Boy or Girl for Jill?” reveal Jill and Derick’s gender announcement is just one part of the hour-long installment. Viewers will also get to see Jessa and Ben Seewald adjust to being a family of four after welcoming son Henry in the last episode. Elsewhere, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo will test out their Spanish-speaking skills at a local Mexican restaurant near their home in Laredo, Texas, and Joy Duggar will dine with her now-husband Austin Forysth’s family.

A sneak peek of the episode doesn’t show any moments from the gender reveal, but it does tease Jinger and Jeremy’s Spanish lessons. In the clip, the couple states that they have been learning the language for a month as they are shown rehearsing their vocabulary lesson with flash cards in their home.

“I think that Jeremy keeps everything super exciting,” Jinger says in the clip. “Like anything, he’s always just so joyful. He makes everything exciting. So learning Spanish it’s just another thing that’s super enjoyable to do with him.”

“Counting On” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC. An encore installment will follow at 11 p.m. EDT.
