When Is ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Returning For Season 7? Bravo Releases Drama-Filled Trailer
Brace yourselves, Bravo fans — “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” are coming back for Season 7. The network has released a first look at the new season, which reveals some major changes in store for the cast.
The clip opens with a glimpse at Teresa Giudice, revealing to viewers the status of her often-tumultuous relationship with brother Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga. The trio are shown laughing and smiling as their children attempt to get in on the fun.
While the sneak peek begins on a high note, things quickly take a dramatic turn. Jacqueline Laurita and her family will be returning for Season 7 of “RHONJ,” and while it seems she and Teresa may have temporarily made amends, those warm and fuzzy feelings may not last long. Rejoining the cast, Jacqueline provides viewers with updates on her family, including eldest daughter Ashlee Holmes, with whom she has been known to fight, and youngest son Nicholas, who faces challenges due to his autism diagnosis. She brings with her close friends Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierre — though fans of “RHONJ” and “Manzo’d with Children” should already be familiar with them from previous seasons.
Besides bringing back old cast members, Bravo will be introducing some newbies to the “RHONJ” roster. According to a press release from NBC Universal, Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker have been added as full--time housewives. Dolores is a “corrections officer-turned-surgical technician-turned realtor.” She also reportedly owns several gyms. She and her ex-husband Frank maintain a close relationship, which is beneficial both to their two children and the businesses they own together. Siggy is described as “a relationship expert, professional matchmaker and TV personality.” Like Dolores, Siggy is divorced, but her ex-husband Mark Flicker is reportedly her close friend. Both will stir things up during Season 7 of “RHONJ,” according to the preview. Their addition to the cast comes after the removal of Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea and twin sister Nicole Napolitano.
Teresa’s return to “RHONJ” comes as no surprise to fans who have been following her and her legal troubles. It was initially rumored that she had decided not to appear on the show. Sources then confirmed to Us Weekly that Teresa would, in fact, be a full-time cast member on Season 7 of “RHONJ,” which she has been a part of since the beginning. Her husband, however, will likely have a limited role as he is currently being held at Fort Dix prison in New Jersey.
“RHONJ” premieres Sunday, July 10, at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
