The “Avengers: Endgame” trailer may have made Marvel Studios fans realize they need to catch up on the latest MCU flick. “Ant-Man and the Wasp” came out just a couple months after “Avengers: Infinity War,” but it didn’t break nearly as many box office records. Luckily, the flick will be on Netflix soon.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” will hit Netflix on Tuesday, Jan. 29. It was in theaters in July, so that’s only about a six-month waiting period.

The “Ant-Man” sequel picks up a while after “Captain America: Civil War.” Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) team-up with the other heroes got him put on house arrest. He hasn’t been in touch with Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) or Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) in a while, but they have to work together once they realize that Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) might be alive.

While it might not seem as epic as “Avengers: Infinity War,” it will likely have a big connection to “Avengers: Endgame,” which will hit theaters April 26. The fourth film’s trailer ends with Scott arriving at the Avengers compound after being presumed dead. Fans have theorized that his knowledge of the Quantum Realm might be the key to saving some of those who were lost in the Snap.

“Avengers: Infinity War” will hit Netflix on Dec. 25, and after “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” Netflix will not have rights to any more Marvel movies. According to Variety, the streaming platform will not be able to provide any Disney movies made in 2019 or later. Netflix will continue streaming the titles they have access to through 2020. Fans will likely be able to watch their favorite Marvel movies on Disney+, a streaming service set to launch in late 2019.
