When Will ‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Return To The CW With Episode 8?

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8 did not air on Thursday, March 23.

The episode, titled “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders,” will be released next week on March 30. As of late, the network did not reveal the real reason behind the one-week hiatus. But when episode 8 airs, viewers can expect to learn shocking information about Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) and his dad FP’s (Skeet Ulrich) involvement in Jason Blossom’s (Trevor Stines) murder.

Also in episode 8, Jughead’s secret of knowing that Jason’s jacket is in their apartment will be revealed. The mysterious character will be worried sick to his stomach when his friends discover the truth. In one of the photos released by The CW, Jughead, Betty (Lili Reinhart), Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) can be seen discussing something at the diner. The former has a sad look on his face while his friends are seemingly interrogating him.

Meanwhile, the four friends will also find themselves in trouble when they offer to help Archie’s dad, Fred (Luke Perry), in his construction business. When Fred’s real crew fails to arrive on time, Archie, Betty, Jughead and Veronica decide to step in and get involved. However, one of them gets attacked, and this will lead them to cross the border and head to the Southside Serpent territory.

Elsewhere in the episode, Betty and Veronica will offer to throw a baby shower for Polly (Tiera Skovbye). The latter does not approve of their plan because she knows that a lot of people in their community blame her for Jason’s murder. However, Betty and Veronica are insistent, so the baby shower will push through. At the gathering, shocking secrets are expected to be unveiled. And equally shocking confrontations will also take place.
