When’s Anna Todd’s ‘After’ Movie Trailer Dropping? Release Date Info Revealed
We’re getting closer and closer to the April 2019 release of the “After” movie, but there’s still a lot of film-related content for fans to enjoy before then. Anna Todd, who wrote the novel the movie’s based on, and the official “After” accounts have been sharing behind-the-scenes set photos, but now it’s almost time to get some video footage in the form of a trailer.
When Todd stopped by Madrid’s El Mundo to do an online Q&A with fans on the outlet’s website, she answered a few questions about the upcoming “After” movie. It was announced in July that the romance flick, which follows the fierce romance between college students Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), will be released in theaters on April 12, 2019, but now fans finally have some details about when the highly-anticipated trailer will come out.
“In the US, it’s going to come out at the end of November, so I imagine that around here it will be around then,” she answered (all questions and answers were translated from Spanish to English via Google Translate) when someone asked about the trailer. “In any case, at the end of November it will be on the internet.”
This means there’s less than two months to go until the “After” movie, which was directed by Jenny Gage from a script by Susan McMartin, releases its trailer, giving readers their first detailed look of the adaptation. Todd didn’t end the chat there, though. She had another little tease to share about the upcoming promo video.
The Wattpad star was asked if any content featuring a kiss between Tessa and Hardin would be released prior to the trailer, and while her answer was “No,” her follow-up response helped ease any feelings of disappointment.
The author revealed that “in the trailer you’re going to see more than one kiss.” Hear that? Hessa’s going to be steaming up your computer screen when the trailer comes out in November. Until then, you can always re-read your favorite scenes from the novel…for the 100th time.
