Where To See Kate Middleton Today: Prince William, Duchess Of Cambridge’s NYC Schedule For Monday, Dec. 8
Where in the world is Kate Middleton? In New York City, of course. The Duchess of Cambridge and husband, Prince William, officially touched down in New York Sunday night. If you were not one of the many admirers awaiting their arrival outside the Carlyle Hotel, there’s no need to fret! The British duke and duchess have dozens of appearances lined up for their three-day visit. Here is what’s on the royal couple’s schedule for Monday, Dec. 8:
Kate, 32, started off her day sans husband. She was greeted by New York Mayor Bill de Blasio's wife Chirlane McCray in Harlem around 11 a.m. “The Duchess of Cambridge is met by the first lady of New York City,” Clarence House captioned an Instagram photo of the pair outside Northside Child Development Center.
If you were unable to get a glimpse of the duchess in Harlem, consider traveling to midtown. Her next stop will be in the afternoon at the British Consul General’s Residence at 845 3rd Ave. It is there she will meet members of the British community from various New York sectors, and most likely, stop to pose for a few photos. You may also catch a glimpse of some other famous faces outside the residence. Clarence House previously confirmed Kate would be joined by former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, at the event.
If you’re not in the Big Apple but still want to catch a glimpse of a member of the royal family, Prince William is to make several solo appearances in Washington Monday. The future king of England was scheduled to start his day by making a speech at the World Bank’s third Biennial Meeting of the International Corruption Hunters Alliance. As of 11:43 a.m. he had yet to arrive. He was rumored to be late to the event because of his wildlife talks at the White House with President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
In the evening, Kate and William are to reunite for an NBA game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The game, which has the Brooklyn Nets going head-to-head against the Cleveland Cavaliers, starts at 7:30 p.m. EST. It is there the couple is speculated to be meeting up with A-list singing-sensations Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Talk about a good photo-op! Tickets are still available for the game.
If you can't wait until the duke's and duchess' appearances on Tuesday, consider making a stop outside the Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side in the evening to catch a glimpse of the pair. Last night, they did stop to pose for a few photos so there might be a chance you might snag a photo.
