Where Is Xur This Week In ‘Destiny’? The Agent of Nine’s Location, Exotic Items And Times Jan. 15 - Jan. 17

It's Friday and that can only mean one thing for "Destiny" players: Xur is back. The mysterious Agent of the Nine is selling new items, exotic engrams and items that could have you parting ways with those hard-earned Strange Coins. Xur returned to business at 5 a.m. EST Sunday, but his deals are for a limited time only. The merchant will skip town at 5 a.m. Sunday to parts unknown.

Last weekend was a great one for "Destiny" players. Bungie offered free Strange Coins, Motes of Light and an exotic engram for everyone who completed an activity in the game qualified for the free items. Xur also had some very good items for sale. If players wanted to spend their Strange Coins, there was the Dragon's Breath rocket launcher to purchase. The No Backup Plans gauntlets for the Titan class was another highlight.

Xur is not at the Tower this week. The merchant has set up shop at the Reef. Players can find him on the right side of the entrance in the first hallway to their left.

Sadly, no weapons or true standouts this week for Xur. "Destiny" players may be interested in the Ruin Wings or Celestial Nighthawk depending on their play style or if they are playing PvE missions. The Helmet Engram could be of interest if players are looking for a Year 2 item. Players could, for example, get the Celestial Nighthawk if they use the Helmet Engram.
