Meghan Markle previously made headlines for her beautiful penmanship when she signed a guest book during a royal engagement and wrote a letter to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr.

But it has now been confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex is not the only member of the royal family who has nice handwriting. During this week’s flower show in Chelsea, Kate Middleton also wrote a note on a piece of paper which she signed with her real name, Catherine.

A photo of Middleton’s handwriting was uploaded on Twitter by royal expert Rebecca English. The snaps show the mom of three’s stunning cursive handwriting which appears to be neat and readable.

However, Markle’s penmanship is still more organized compared to Middleton because Prince Harry’s wife has a background when it comes to calligraphy. Paper Source CEO Winnie Park told People that Markle worked for her company part-time before she landed a role on “Suits.”

“She taught calligraphy and hosted a group of customers and instructed them during a two-hour class on how to do calligraphy,” Park said.

Markle also worked as a freelance calligrapher, and she wrote the invitations for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton’s wedding in 2005. And on Christmas last year, Markle wrote a sweet greeting during her visit to Brinsworth House, a residential and nursing care home for British entertainers run by the Royal Variety Charity.

“Merry Christmas. Love, Meghan,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, this week’s flower show was not the first time that Middleton showed off her handwriting to the public. Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Norway and she also had the opportunity to show her penmanship skills on the tablet.

While at Mesh, a workspace in central Oslo, Middleton and Prince William had the chance to try out remarkable – a digital tablet device that users can scribble on using a special pen. The 37-year-old wrote, “Does this feel like paper?” on top of three trees that she doodled.
