Who Is Caryn Chandler, Matt Roloff’s Girlfriend? Amy Responds To Ex-Husband’s New Woman

“Little People, Big World” star Amy Roloff was shaken when she discovered her ex-husband, Matt, was dating Caryn Chandler, his personal assistant. She was further bothered when Matt and Amy’s pregnant daughter-in-law, Tori, invited Caryn to her gender reveal party, she said on Tuesday night’s episode of the TLC show.

“Seeing Caryn here threw me for a loop more than I would have liked,” Amy admitted during a confessional, according to Radar Online. “I think coming here to this particular event is an intimate family thing…It just throws a whole different dynamic to my life here on the farm.”

Amy wasn’t the only one who was uncomfortable with the new relationship. Their son, Zach, didn’t seem happy about it either. “Caryn’s part of the Roloff farm operation. As far as their relationship goes, I don’t have anything to say about it,” he said. “My parents are divorced, so…yeah.”

Even though other members of the family might not be thrilled, Matt was smitten with his new girlfriend, who he’s reportedly been dating for 1 year. “After our divorce, I had to do a lot of soul searching and think about what I wanted in life, and Caryn offered me great companionship,” he said. “We enjoy the same sort of social settings, and company and friendship…Amy and I didn’t have that. It’s different. This is a really neat person that’s full of life and I think she’s cute.”

While it might seem like Amy was jealous, she has a boyfriend of her own. Last season of “Little People, Big World,” the reality TV star began to date boyfriend Chris Marek.

“We’re officially dating, yes,” he told Radar Online in an exclusive January interview about the Roloff matriarch. “It’s been fun! Amy and I are getting along great.”

Amy, 51, is happy about her new relationship, too. “Moments are important and necessary to stay connected, develop and strengthen relationships and to stay connected w/ yourself,” the TLC reality star penned Monday. “Had an awesome fun weekend on the beach sharing food, having great conversations, a 3 mile walk on the beach, playing games, having fun with awesome wonderful great longtime friends.”
