Who Is Cole DeBoer? Meet Chelsea Houska’s Boyfriend, New 'Teen Mom 2' Star

“Teen Mom 2” will have a new cast member in Season 6. After years of living as a single mother with her daughter, Aubree, star Chelsea Houska will introduce a new member of her family to MTV viewers this season.

Chelsea, 23, first showed off her new boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, to her Instagram followers in August 2014. She posted a photo of herself giving her new love a kiss on the cheek. The image instantly caused a flurry online, many “Teen Mom 2” viewers questioning if Chelsea was in a new relationship. But it wasn’t until almost two months later that Chelsea semi-addressed the speculation by posting a photo of herself getting cozy with her new beau, writing, “He cute.” Cole shared the same photo of his Instagram account, captioning the images “babes.”

The couple, who met at a gas station last summer, has documented a lot of their romance online since, posting photos of their Halloween adventures, vacations and “Sunday fun days” for fans. Chelsea recently publicly declared for her feelings for her new beau on Instagram, writing, “I love him.” The heartfelt post was accompanied by a personal shot of Chelsea and Cole posing side-by-side with their arms intertwined.

So, just who is Chelsea’s new beau? From his Instagram page, it appears the 26-year-old is a huge fan of hunting, specifically dears and pheasants, and ice fishing. Cole also appears to be a huge animal lover. He posted several photos of Chelsea’s newest furry edition, a piglet named Peter, to Instagram in April, calling him “sweet.”

Cole is also a big fan of fitness training and has posted various photos and videos of himself working out on social media in recent weeks. Due to his love for Luke Bryan – he attended one of the country crooner’s concerts with Chelsea in May – we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he listens to when he’s pumping some iron!

Not only does Cole appear to be a big hit with Chelsea, its clear 5-year-old Aubree, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Adam Lind, is also a fan. “Thank you, Cole, for being very nice to me,” Aubree wrote in the letter to Cole, which he posted to Instagram in June. “I love when you help me with stuff and when I get to work out with you I get stronger. You are the funniest guy I’ve seen in my life ever.”

In a recent interview with MTV News Chelsea dished about what viewers can expect from her new romance this season on “Teen Mom 2.”

“My relationship with Cole is completely different than past relationships. I’ve only had bad relationships,” Chelsea said, referring to her failed romance with Adam. “Cole is just awesome, he’s fun and he’s funny and he’s weird like me. And he’s great with Aubree ... As a father figure, he completely like stepped up to take on that responsibility like more than I ever could ever imagine."

And while wedding bells and babies aren’t in their near future, Chelsea said she doesn’t imagine they will be breaking up anytime soon. “We’ll just take the next steps as it comes,” she said. “I would love to be with him forever.”
