Who Is Conor McGregor’s Girlfriend, Dee Delvin?

As UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor gets ready to take on boxing star Floyd Mayweather, his long-term girlfriend, Dee Delvin, will likely be in his corner. The couple welcomed their son, Conor Jack McGregor, Jr., in May, but who is she?

Delvin, 30, is from Walkinstown, Dublin, the Irish Mirror wrote. Just like her boyfriend, she is proud of her Irish nationality.

She has been with McGregor for 10 years, which is before he made a name from himself in the UFC Octagon.

McGregor has previously spoken about how her loyalty impacted him. “My girlfriend worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing,” he said, according to the Irish Mirror.

Delvin took to Instagram to express her excitement when McGregor beat Chad Mendes in 2015. “To say that I am proud is a MAJOR understatement! I am so on cloud 9 right now I can't even put it into words!” she wrote at the time. “Thank you to every single person who made the trip out to Vegas to support Conor last night! The place was absolutely buzzin!”

She tries to help him be successful. “I definitely try to help him out all the time, even without realizing it — especially around a fight because it's such a tough time with his weight. I cook, clean, pack his gym bag, all that kind of stuff,” she told ESPN in 2015.

Delvin even told a strange story about packing a “passport for his shoes” since certain animal skin is illegal in California. “He's kind of gotten into animal skins recently. He had already bout one pair of shoes that have a traveling passport, because they are made of python skin. So, if you fly to, say, California, it's illegal to buy them there so if you don't have a passport with them they’ll be seized,” she said at the time. “So, the other day, we went to the shops on the Las Vegas Strip and he bought a pair of caimans, which I think is crocodile or something, and we brought them home and I said, 'Conor! These shoes have a passport, too!' So, him asking me, 'Make sure you pack my passport and my shoes' passport' when we travel I guess is pretty strange.”

Since their son was born, Delvin has posted several family pictures to Instagram. She usually only uses a heart emoji to caption them.

A photo Conor, Jr. went viral when McGregor posted it to social media. He was wearing a three-piece suit, which his father famously wears. Some compared the child to actor Verne Troyer, who joked that he would fight McGregor’s son. “Me and The Notorious' son to have the fight of the century,” he tweeted.

Mayweather is slated to take on McGregor Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It's a showdown between the greatest boxer of his generation against the biggest star in UFC history. Don't miss the fight when it starts at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime PPV.
