Who Is David Eason? Jenelle Evans Introduces ‘Serious’ New Boyfriend In ‘Teen Mom 2’ Clip [VIDEO]

Jenelle Evans has found love again. After splitting from fiancé Nathan Griffith last season, Jenelle will introduce a new boyfriend on the next “Teen Mom 2” Season 7 installment.

A sneak-peek video of Monday’s episode of the MTV docuseries shows Jenelle, 24, introducing David Eason to her mom Barbara. “I guess it’s getting to be serious,” Barbara tells her daughter of her newfound relationship. While Barbara and David's meeting starts off on a friendly note, a fight between Jenelle and her mother quickly sours their first encounter.

When Barbara brings up the idea of traveling to Asheville, North Carolina, with Jenelle’s son Jace for Christmas, the MTV star is not thrilled. When Barbara suggests she and David join her on the trip, Jenelle refuses. “He has his daughter for Christmas,” Jenelle says, gesturing to David’s child Maryssa, who also meets Barbara in episode 3. “This is no fair!”

“This is no fair to me!” Barbara, who has full custody of Jace, responds.

“I’m his mother!” Jenelle says. “Are we really going to argue about this?”

Jenelle decides to let Jace decide where he wants to go for Christmas, but the video cuts out before viewers are informed of his answer.

While viewers will have to wait until April 4 to see David’s introduction to the series in full, this isn’t his first time on-screen. David earned a big role in both of the “Teen Mom 2” Season 7 trailers.

“I met a guy. His name is David,” a visibly happy Jenelle says in one promo. While Jenelle advises her boyfriend to move in with her in one clip, a second scene shows Barbara upset by her daughter’s new lover. “You live here and she pays all the bills like every other guy!” Barbara complains.

Nathan, who shares son Kaiser with Jenelle, also has an issue with David. He brings up his past domestic violence charges to Jenelle. “He was not found guilty,” Jenelle explains to her ex in a promo.

Jenelle began dating David in September 2015, one month after she and Nathan ended their engagement. She first introduced David, a 27-year-old father of two, to her fans on social media while on a double date with the Wilmington, North Carolina, native.
