The “Out of the Woods” singer is notorious for getting involved in high profile relationships, getting dumped and writing a catchy pop song about it. Her beau, however, has been a bit more elusive when it comes to matters of the heart.

Since bursting onto the American acting scene in 2011 with “Thor,” the London, England, native has been in just one confirmed relationship. He and Susannah Fielding, an actress from England, went public about their romantic relationship in 2008. They pair continued dating for three years, calling it quits in 2011 due to his demanding schedule, according to Daily Mail.

Kat Dennings

While filming the 2011 blockbuster, “Thor,” Hiddleston was introduced to “2 Broke Girls” actress Kat Dennings. The pair apparently hit it off — at the time, E! Online reported that they appeared at Comic-con together holding hands. Their rumored romance was, however, short lived. The two were not seen together again.

Jessica Chastain

Taylor Swift isn’t the only famous female believed to have met Hiddleston’s mom. In 2013 a source told Daily Mail that the actor was “taken” with Chastain, 39. The anonymous informant went on to claim that she had come to England around the holiday season to meet Hiddleston’s mother as well as the rest of his family. Chastain denied dating the actor, telling InStyle U.K. she “was so freaked out” she couldn’t date famous men.

Jane Arthy

Hiddleston, 35, and Jane Arthy, a record producer, were rumored to be a couple in 2013. The duo were seen cozying up to one another in the stands during Wimbledon. Although it seemed there was no doubt that these two were dating, Hiddleston vehemently denied it in an interview with GQ, promising fans that when there was a special lady in his life he’d “be able to talk.”

Not long before he and T-Swift began making headlines, Hiddleston was said to be dating the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. He and Elizabeth Olsen were seen out and about on numerous occasions in 2015, but the “Captain America: Civil War” actress maintained that their relationship was strictly platonic.
