Who Is Halle Calhoun? Meet The 19-year-Old Rumored To Be Dating R. Kelly
Is R. Kelly dating a 19-year-old? That's what several reports have indicated, and the news has already gotten plenty of attention.
According to the YBF, the veteran R&B singer and his new mate were seen partying in Atlanta on Saturday night, and there's even rumors that they plan to tie-the-knot.
As far as who this young woman is, her name is Halle Calhoun, and based on her Twitter page she’s a Fashion Marketing and Management major at The Art Institute of Charleston, South Caroline. In addition, she currently resides in Mauldin, South Carolina, but is originally from Atlanta, according to her Facebook page.
There’s also a good chance that Calhoun is a model based on the professional looking photos that's posted on her Instagram, and she also has booking information on her page as well. Furthermore, Calhoun’s Facebook says she’s currently in a relationship, but she doesn’t indicate whether her beau is R. Kelly or not.
As of now, the 19-year-old has posted three photos of herself and the singer, the latest one shared just two weeks ago.
“Hanging out with the dopest in the game,” she wrote next to the pic. “#KingofR&B, #Kells.”
In another photo, Calhoun said she really enjoyed getting to know the “Diamond: Ultimate Collection” creator, and it's taught her a lot. “Getting to know Robert was probably the realist thing ever,” she wrote.
Of course, the rumors of Kelly being interested in extremely young women is nothing new, and they started when he was married to the late singer Aaliyah when she was just 15 years old, and he was 28.
Additionally, according to the Huffingon Post, Kelly was sued by a woman named Tiffany Hawkins in 1996, who accused him of sleeping with her when she was just 15 years old and he was 24. In 2002, a video surfaced of the singer having sex with an underage girl, and he was arrested a year later on child pornography charges. In 2008, however, he was acquitted when the girl in the tape decided not to testify.
