Who Is Jon Grissom? Corey Feldman Names Hollywood’s First ‘Pedophilia Ring’ Member
On the television show “Dr. Oz,” on Thursday, actor Corey Feldman listed former co-actor Jon Grissom as the person who sexually abused him in the 1980s, when the former was at the peak of his career.
Flanked by his wife Courtney Anne Mitchell, Feldman, who has vowed to expose Hollywood’s “pedophilia ring,” named the first alleged culprit — Grissom, his former assistant — as the person who had molested him during the time. Although this was the first time that Feldman had taken named on national television, he had mentioned instances of being sexually molested in his 2013 memoir, “Coreyography.” In the book, Feldman changed Grissom’s name to “Ron Crimson,” a man who made sexual advances toward him, after giving him drugs.
“I had taken some pills, some concoction that Ron had made up … Ron came over and sat down next to me, a triple-X magazine in his hands … Ron started touching me, reaching across my thigh to the crotch of my pants,” Feldman wrote, New York Daily News reported. “When I woke up, he was on me, touching me, tugging on the zipper of my pants. I realized it was happening again.”
According to his Facebook page, Grissom was born in Tucson, Arizona, and currently lives in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in Mexico. He attended Amphitheater High School and later went on to study psychology at The University of Arizona. He worked in sales before becoming a production specialist for Dino De Laurentiis.
Feldman told Dr. Oz that he knew about the whereabouts of Grissom because a fan had pointed it out to him more than a week ago: “They’re living in Mexico. I found that out a week and a half ago. I had a very lovely fan — I don’t even know that they’re a fan or just somebody that cares about this topic. But somebody on my Twitter feed posted a video saying, ‘This is the guy.’”
His IMDB page shows that he has acted in two movies – “License to Drive” (1988) and “Dream a Little Dream” (1989) – both of which had Corey Feldman co-starring in them. According to Sex Offenders Archive, Grissom has had a record of performing lewd or lascivious acts with a child aged 14 or 15 years old. At the time of his arrest for the sexual misconduct in 2001, he had given his name as Cloyd Jon Grissom.
Additionally, he was arrested in Utah for an unknown crime in 1995 and spent three months in prison in Arizona for credit card theft, unlawful means of transportation and resisting arrest in 2000, according to Heavy.
Feldman also pointed out that Grissom still has pictures of him and his friend, late Corey Haim (who was also abused at Grissom’s hands) on his MySpace page. “This guy, on his MySpace page and his Facebook page, has pictures of me and Corey Haim,” Feldman said. “He still taunts it and flaunts it.”
This was not the first time that Feldman has opened up about Grissom’s alleged abuse. “In 1993, I told the Santa Barbara Police Department (SBPD), when they came to interrogate me about Michael Jackson when they came to convince me that he was a pedophile," Feldman said. "And I said he’s not,” Feldman claimed that since the police was only interested in information regarding Jackson, they took no action against Grissom at the time.
SBPD has since corroborated Feldman’s account of the events. “We are aware of the statements that Mr. Feldman is making regarding an investigation in 1993. Our records do not indicate that he named any suspects. If he has any information regarding a crime or crimes that occurred, we encourage him to contact our office or his local law enforcement agency," Feldman said in an interview with Megyn Kelly Today.
Grissom’s Facebook page has been flooded with angry comments, including people re-posting his Facebook profile picture with the words “PEDO” written in red across it. “U are f****** pervert!!! Those boys suffered because of u and the other perverts. , they tried to escape all the memories by using drugs and it cost Corey his life 'and you should rot in hell child molester,” wrote one user while another wrote, “That's why he moved to Mexico. POS”
