Who Is Mackenzie Standifer, Ryan Edwards’ Wife? ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Tweets Cryptic Post After Marriage

“Teen Mom OG” stars Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards finished out Season 7 with a shock: They eloped. Before the episode aired Monday night, Standifer took to Twitter to write a cryptic message, where she could have alluded to her husband’s rumored drug addiction. The couple got married in May before Edwards did a stint in rehab for prescription pill addiction.

“And any negativity... bye. Hope the door doesn't hit ya on the way out! #BeGoneSatan too much good happening in this household,” she wrote last week. “God is so faithful! He has stuck by US in every step of our way. Thankful for a family that supports, loves and encourages.”

Not many people attended their nuptials. In fact, one of the “most important people” were missing. Edwards’ son 8-year-old son Bentley, who he shares with ex Maci Bookout, was not present.

Edwards’ mother got emotional on the day of the wedding.

In turn, Edwards told his father, “I don’t think we’re [going to tell Bentley]… If he does find out, we’re gonna sit him down.”

But Edwards was just happy to marry Standifer. “It don’t matter if there are 100 people or two people. It just matters as long as we love each other,” he told his mother in a sneak peek clip of the episode. “It just matters as long as we love each other. Just think it’s best for Bentley.”

While Bookout was open about her views on Edwards’ alleged drug addiction, Standifer remained mum, resulting to cryptic social media posts. In one of them about “narcissist awareness month,” she seemingly took a hit at Bookout. “You can only act like a piece of s--- for so long before it all comes out in the wash,” she wrote June 18.

Bookout, 25, wanted to stage an intervention for Edwards. “He is my oldest son’s father. I’m not really sure what exactly he’s using, but sometimes he’ll fall asleep while you’re trying to have a conversation with him or he’s extremely wide eyed. He doesn’t look right,” she said. “I’m hoping to get some advice on helping an addict.”

Though Standifer has a son, Hudson, he doesn’t appear on the show. “My son is 3, I have custody, I made an agreement w/ his dad that he wouldn't participate on the show,” she explained to her followers in an April 24 show.

While she claimed she had custody, she battled rumors that she lost parenting rights to her son because of Edwards’ rumored drug use. She reportedly denied the gossip.

Even though they seemingly have a tumultuous relationship now, Bookout previously approved of Standifer. “I just want to let you know, I really, really appreciate you. All I ever wanted was for Ryan to find someone that makes him happy and a woman that will treat my son, as their own child because I am not there. So, we are both his mother,” Bookout once said.
