Who Is Mark Foster? Meet 'Ozark' Star Julia Garner's New Husband
Saturday was a big day for one of the stars in “Ozark.” Julia Garner, who plays Ruth Langmore in the hit Netflix show, got married to Mark Foster.
Mark Foster is the lead singer for the band Foster The People. The group is most known for the song “Pumped Up Kicks.”
The media found out about the wedding via Zac Posen’s Instagram. The designer posted a photo of the newly married couple kissing with the caption “Congratulations @juliagarner94 and @mistersmims.”
Garner and Foster also posted on their own Instagrams. They both chose a black and white photo of the two of them sitting in a cab. It is unclear whether they’re on their way to get married or on their way back from getting married.
The wedding was held at New York’s City Hall.
The two got engaged back in April when they were on vacation in Yellowstone, according to People Magazine.
Garner made a subtle announcement and showed off her ring on Instagram in October.
“Montana on film,” she wrote. “Taken by my love @mistersmims. Missing this magic light and place. Happy Friday. Xx.”
Along with being a singer, Foster is also Garner’s biggest fan. When the actress won her first Emmy for supporting actress, Foster couldn’t get over how proud he was of her.
“It took me time to process the last twenty-four hours and find a quiet moment of thought after an incredibly surreal weekend. I’m beyond proud of this girl,” he wrote on social media. “Congratulations you beautiful angel of a human. It brings me immeasurable joy to see you lifted up and recognized by your peers, your industry, and your fans. You deserve every bit of love and respect. You’re so incredibly special. I consider my self the luckiest guy on the planet to be able to watch whatever you do from the front row, with a bad of popcorn and hand wrapped in mine.”
