Who Is The Next ‘Bachelorette’? 4 Rumored Contenders For 2020 Season
With Peter Weber’s “The Bachelorette” season winding down, the question of who will be the next “Bachelorette” is at the forefront of Bachelor Nation’s mind. And while ABC has yet to announce who their 2020 lead will be, several names attached to the role have been discussed.
So, who will be the next “The Bachelorette” star? Here’s what we know about the rumored contenders so far!
Hannah Brown
While it was initially considered that Hannah B. could get a second shot at being “The Bachelorette” following her failed 2019 installment, it appears she is out of the running. After reporting he wouldn’t be surprised at a “Hannah Brown 2.0 season,” spoiler blogger Reality Steve confirmed via Twitter on Feb. 19 that fans could “cross” her off the list of potential stars due to her upcoming “Dancing With the Stars” tour.
“This would be during filming and clearly she can’t do both,” he wrote of her announced March 24-29 tour dates.

Tia Booth
In a Feb. 13 podcast, Reality Steve noted that out of the last five seasons of “The Bachelor,” not counting the current run, only four of the women who placed in the top four are currently single. Tia Booth, he mentioned, is one of those women, therefore making her a contender.
“Everyone else is in a relationship or married. It’s crazy,” he said.
The blogger isn’t the only one who has shown support for Tia taking the lead. As noted by Us Weekly, her ex-boyfriend and former “The Bachelor” lead Colton Underwood suggested her name when the series' creator, Mike Fleiss, tweeted asking for casting advice.
Bachelor Nation alum Raven Gates is also pro-Tia. “I think Tia Booth would make a great Bachelorette," Raven told the outlet. "She’s unfiltered, ready to find love, and would be so entertaining to watch! I may be biased because she’s my BFF but she would be so great!"
Kendall Long
Like Tia, Reality Steve also noted in his podcast that Kendall Long, who is fairly fresh off her breakup from Bachelor Nation’s Grocery Store Joe, is also available going into “The Bachelorette” casting season. Out of the other top-placing “The Bachelor” singles, which includes Tayshia Adams, the blogger said Kendall and Tia had a “legit” shot of being chosen for the role.
Kelsey Weier
While Reality Steve previously stated that it was “very very possible” that none of Peter’s women would be the next “Bachelorette,” it appears at least one may be in the running. Following the “Women Tell All” taping, he reported on Twitter on Feb. 22 that Kelsey Weier was only one of two contestants this season that received a solo interview. (The other interview went to the controversial Victoria Fuller.)
“Kelsey on the hot seat talked about her journey, her being very emotional, seemed like a ‘Bachelorette’ audition,” he reported.
Bachelor Nation alum Ashley Iaconetti, who has shared her support for Kelsey being the next "Bachelorette," also reportedly appeared on stage to gift Kelsey a bottle of her beloved champagne.
“That girl is trying to find her husband,” Ashley told Life & Style. “I don’t even think she cares about all the hoopla that comes with the show.”
