Who Is Renee Puente? 'Glee' Star Matthew Morrison Marries Model Girlfriend

Will Schuester got married on “Glee” in Season 4, but it took actor Matthew Morrison a couple years to catch up. Morrison married Renee Puente Saturday (Oct. 18), People reported, but some fans aren’t quite sure who she is.

While most websites refer to her as a model, Puente is a recording artist, according to her website. While she was offered a deal with a girl group from Interscope Records, she turned it down because she knew it “would not satisfy her passion.” She is currently pursuing a solo career and has worked with Snoop Dogg, Sly Stone and MusiqSoulChild. Her and Morrison’s shared passion for music prompted them to serenade each other at their wedding. They sang Laura Benanti’s “Starry Eyed/Video Games,” People reported.

Like her “Glee” star husband, Puente is also an actress. She played Bianca in “The Exes” (Season 2 episode 4). She was also seen as Zipline #2 in “Divergent” earlier this year. If you don’t remember Zipline #2, check out the still below:

Although she seems to be breaking into Hollywood, Morrison told Closer magazine Puente isn’t in the entertainment industry. "I'm very happy. Renee's not in the industry -- I need that normality," the actor reportedly said.

The couple dated for two years before Morrison proposed in June 2013, Us Weekly reported. Morrison and Puente married in Hawaii where she planned “a special hula performance” for her new husband.

Morrison can next be seen in the final season of "Glee," which will premiere midseason on Fox.
