Who Will Play Kate, William In Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Lifetime Movie?
Lifetime just cast Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte in “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.”
Middleton will be played by Canadian actress Laura Mitchell, while Prince William will be portrayed by Australian actor Burgess Abernethy. Prince George will be played by Preston Karwat, and Princess Charlotte will be brought to life by Briella Weintraub, according to the Daily Mail.
Other cast members include Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle, Murray Fraser as Prince Harry, Bonnie Soper as Princess Diana, and Maggie Sullivan as Queen Elizabeth II, according to Mirror UK.
“Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” will center on Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship – from their courtship down to their engagement. The TV/Movie will also shed light on Markle’s life as an actress, as well as her status as a divorced woman.
As of late, it is still unclear how “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” will be similar to Lifetime’s 2011 project “William & Kate: The Movie.” But prior to Middleton and Prince William’s wedding 7 years ago, Hallmark also dropped “William & Catherine: A Royal Romance,” which focused on the couple’s relationship while they were still in college and even after graduation.
The release date of “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance” remains to be unknown, but there are speculations that it will be available before Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot on May 19. The couple’s wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle at 12 noon (7 a.m. EST).
A carriage procession will follow after the wedding ceremony at 1 p.m (8 a.m. EST). Following the short procession around Windsor, Prince Harry and Markle will head to St. George’s Hall for their reception with the heads of the congregation.
Other details about the couple’s wedding are still being kept under wraps. Markle and Prince Harry have not yet revealed who will be part of their entourage. It is also unclear which musicians will perform at their wedding.
