It's barely been a month since Abby Huntsman left "The View," but that hasn't stopped people from wondering who will replace her.

Sunny Hostin, a co-host of "The View" alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Meghan McCain, and Joy Behar, revealed that they don't exactly have plans to fill the empty seat anytime soon.

"I mean, first of all, she's irreplaceable," she told Entertainment Tonight at the 2020 Writer's Guild Awards on Sunday.

"I think she’s incredible and I miss her very, very much. We talk often. And she seems to be in her element with her family, on the campaign trail," Hostin said of Huntsman's decision to resign. "But no discussion. I think we have a lot to say and there are four of us and now there’s a little bit more time to say what we’re saying."

"I think you’re going to be seeing the four of us -- and Ana Navarro of course on Fridays," she added. "So it seems like our cast is pretty settled."

Huntsman made the shocking announcement on "The View's" on Jan. 13. After sharing that family is her "number one priority," the 33-year-old revealed that she decided to help her dad, Jon Huntsman Jr., run for governor of Utah.

McCain reiterated that it was Huntsmans' desire to help her family that lead to her leaving the show and shut down rumors that a feud between the two of them was the reason for her departure.

"Abby and I have been friends for over 10 years," McCain explained during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." "We are still very good friends. We are very close, I just talked to her yesterday morning. She is campaigning with her dad. I think she was genuinely conflicted with her dad running for governor and her not helping and that is the reason she left."

"We did get in a fight, which is a very small fight and a friend fight," she continued. "All friendships have ups and downs and it was sort of bizarre to me, and I think bizarre to her, to have the fact that we got in one fight in the two years we’ve worked together on the show to be put under dissection in the media, to be weaponized."
