“Jeopardy!” fans will have to adjust to another new face delivering questions to contestants following the death of Alex Trebek. Current guest host Ken Jennings’ run is set to come to an end on Friday, which means someone else will be taking over his duties.

Starting Feb. 22 until March 5, Mike Richards, the executive producer of “Jeopardy!,” will step in as the interim host of the long-running game show, according to the official website.

“I was very fortunate to have a front-row seat to watch and study Alex. Stepping in as a guest host was incredibly humbling, emotional, and a lot of fun. It will forever be the honor of my life,” Richards said in a statement.

Following Richards’ run, there will be a series of interim hosts who will take the famous “Jeopardy!” stage, starting with Katie Couric.

The journalist revealed she is looking forward to the temporary hosting gig. “It is such a thrill to be here guest hosting a show I’ve watched for years, and a real honor to help as we recover after Alex,” Couric said in a statement.

Couric will then be followed by other guest hosts, including Dr. Mehmet Oz, Aaron Rodgers, Savannah Guthrie, Anderson Cooper, Mayim Bialik, Bill Whitaker, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

When Jennings first stepped into the hosting role on Jan. 11, he reflected on the privilege he felt following in the late host’s footsteps.

“Sharing this stage with Alex Trebek was one of the greatest honors of my life,” Jennings said during his first episode.

“Not many things in life are perfect, but Alex did this job pretty much perfectly for more than 36 years. And it was even better up close. We were dazzled by his intelligence, his charm, his grace — really, there’s no other word for it.”
