Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are renovation Frogmore Cottage, and they’re adding some personal touches. The latest alleged addition, however, seems to be blocking a major inconvenience.

According to the Mirror, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent £50,000 soundproofing their new home. It seems there are over a dozen planes flying within a mile of the Windsor, England, home every hour. Clearly, Meghan and Harry want to make sure no aircrafts wake up their newborn baby later this year.

Though much of the work on updating the building will be covered by the taxpayer-funded Sovereign Grant, the outlet reports that Sussexes will cover the soundproofing bill.

Frogmore Cottage is only a 20-minute drive from Heathrow, and while that might cause a need for soundproofing, it could also be quite convenient. As previously reported, Meghan and Harry are set to represent the royal family on an international level. Being so close to the airport could be beneficial for the jet setting royals.

As the royal baby’s spring due date gets closer, however, Meghan and Harry are focused on their home. Their renovations are extensive since they are turning several staff quarters into one family home. Frogmore will reportedly have five bedrooms in addition to a yoga studio. There are also reports that the Duchess wants to use Feng Shui to decorate.

The process has reportedly been very stressful. Meghan is said to be highly involved in the construction project, but it’s rather time-consuming. She was supposedly even on the phone with decorators during her baby shower.
