Why Chloe Moretz And Brooklyn Beckham Broke Up: Clingy Rumors Might Be True
“Carrie” actress Chloe Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham, the son of Victoria and David Beckham, broke up after two years together, Gossip Cop confirmed in an exclusive report. While there are various rumors about why the young lovers split, one accusation seems to be true. Moretz being clingy ultimately led to the demise of their relationship.
The problem for the couple, who split up earlier this week, comes in two parts. First, long distance was a major factor in their breakup. While Beckham resides in London, Moretz lives in Los Angeles. Making things even more difficult, Moretz was envious of all Beckham’s friends, especially the female ones.
She was “jealous and very controlling,” Gossip Cop reported. “They were more on and off than people realized.”
The split comes four months after they went public with their love. “We're in a relationship. It's fine. It's no biggie. And I think that, you know, the more I don't make it mysterious, the more that people don't care. So yes, we're in a relationship,” the actress said on “Watch What Happens Live” in May 2016.
One thing that isn’t true is Beckham cheating on Moretz with one of his friends. An insider described him as a “sweet 17-year-old boy” and added: “He’s not a cheater.” The cheating accusation stems from a Thursday report from OK! Magazine.
There might be more rumors that unravel in the future, but Gossip Cop promised to debunk them all. “While acquaintances of the two have begun to come out to clarify and correct inaccurate claims about Beckham and Moretz’s split, neither of them have publicly commented on the breakup,” the publication wrote Friday. “Should more falsehoods be published, Gossip Cop will bust them.”
In truth, neither party has commented about the split on social media. Instead, Moretz celebrated her Nouvel Rising Star award at the 2016 Deauville American Film Festival in Paris. “Such an honor to be accepting the Nouvel Rising Star award tonight at #Deauville2016 :),” she wrote Friday.
