After only three months of dating, One Direction singer Harry Styles, and his girlfriend, reality TV star and runway model Kendall Jenner, have split The Sun reported Sunday. According to the gossip report, the 20-year-old musician and his 18-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star beau have parted ways for reasons other than Styles two recent alleged flings.

So why did Styles and Jenner break up their ‘Hendall’ romance? If the rumors are to be believed, the twosome has allegedly called their relationship quits due to their busy work schedules. “Kendall has been focusing on her modeling and Harry is preparing for work on the band’s fourth album, as well as their stadium tour,” a source told the UK based publication, adding confirmation that the duo's busy careers is what made their highly-publicized romance fail. “The reality is that with everything they both have going on, it’s impossible to sustain anything serious," said the insider.

While the duo is rumored to no longer officially be an item, the pair has reportedly split on good terms. “There’s been no major fallout. They’re definitely still friends,” said an insider, who also hinted at the possibility of a future reconciliation, saying, “[They] haven’t ruled out anything in the future.”

Despite The Sun’s reports that the pair’s split was a result of work-related purposes, Styles has been rumored to have stepped out on the “Kardashians” star more than once in recent weeks. According to a report from the UK’s Daily Star last week, Styles was seen flirting with indie rocker Sky Ferreira at London’s cabaret club The Box on Valentine’s Day night. “The two of them were together for most of the night and seemed all over each other,” an insider revealed, adding claims that the duo was spotted “whispering” and “giggling” while partying together at the hot spot with Jenner nowhere in sight.

Just weeks prior to his most recent alleged indiscretion, Star magazine reported that Styles was seen leaving Swingers restaurant in Los Angeles last month with a mystery female waiting for him in his vehicle. Since the controversial outing, Styles’ passenger has been identified as Haley Giraldo, the daughter of 80s rocker Pat Benetar. Despite rumors that the pair have been secretly dating, a source even revealing the “What Makes You Beautiful” performer has been known to send the blonde beauty “romantic gifts,” Giraldo has since denied that their romance ever occurred.
