Why Did Joseline Call Mimi 'Molly The Maid' On 'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta?' 'LHHATL' Star Explains Nickname
The second season of “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” premiered on Monday and showed that the love triangle of Joseline Hernandez, Stevie J and Mimi Faust is just as twisted as ever.
After last season's charades it didn’t seem the love plot could get any stranger, but somehow Hernandez has managed to hang on, causing more complications than ever.
Before the premiere of the new season the “LHHATL” actress told MTV about Stevie J:
"He's the same person all the time with me and I don't really pay attention to what Stevie does for the show, because outside of the show we have bigger plans," she said, when asked about the lies he weaves between her and Faust. "He's my manager and he makes me a lot of money, so I'm not really tripping about what he talks about to his baby mama. I shouldn't even be in their conversation."
Stevie J and Faust have a 3-year-old daughter, Eva.
The tangled three get into a fight during the episode, but Hernandez doesn’t worry about altercations with Stevie J because she said he’ll always come back to her.
She told MTV:
"When I get mad at Stevie, I always fight him, but at the end of the day, everybody knows Stevie's not gonna let me go. He's gonna be back for his business and his personal life because he wouldn't know what to do without Joseline Hernandez; he'll go crazy," she said. "I fired him before, but that won't be happening anymore. When I have a personal issue with Stevie I'll just keep it at home — curse him out at home and keep doing business."
With Stevie J seemingly in the palm of her hand, she also doesn’t worry about Faust, whom she refers to as a “maid” this season.
"She cleans houses!" Hernandez said. "I'm a singer, hip-hop artist and a rapper, so I don't clean. I pay people to come clean for me. When she calls me a prostitute and a stripper, I don't get upset, I embrace it. So embrace you being a maid."
"He [Stevie J] called her a maid too, but he knows what's up — she a maid!"
Hernandez’s “Molly the maid” comment about Faust sent Twitter abuzz, making the phrase a trending topic on the mini-blog.
“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” airs every Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
