Why Did Rita Ora And Calvin Harris Split? '50 Shades Of Grey' Actress Returns To Movie Set Amid Alleged Breakup

Just two months after singer Rita Ora called her music producer boyfriend Calvin Harris the “sexiest man” she’s ever seen, the pair have reportedly called it quits. They had been together for about nine months, allegedly living together in Beverly Hills recently.

“Rita and Calvin have split,” a source told The Sun. “It's been tough for both of them, but it's been even harder for them to spend time together recently. He's busy DJing and she's working on her new album and shooting ‘50 Shades Of Grey.'” In December, Ora, 23, was named to the cast of the highly anticipated movie, which is currently shooting in Vancouver, Canada. She is set to play Mia, the adopted younger sister of Christian Grey, in the "Fifty Shades of Grey”film,It is based on the erotic novel of the same title by E.L. James. Currently scheduled for a Feb. 13, 2015, release, the film will also star Dakota Johnson as lead character Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. Anastasia is a college student who falls for Grey, a handsome and successful businessman who introduces her to S&M.

Though their busy schedules are the alleged reason for the breakup, Ora unfollowed Harris on Instagram, which makes it seem like the reason may be more than work-related. Regardless of the reason, Ora seemed to be enjoying her alone time as she hung out poolside in Los Angeles earlier this week and shared pictures.

'Last-minute sun just before Vancouver!! #Mia #50',” she wrote as her photo caption, as she heads back to Vancouver to shoot “50 Shades.”

Rita previously dated Rob Kardashian, but the pair split following cheating allegations. Us Weekly reported that Kardashian was so distraught after the breakup that he gained 40 pounds.
