Why Farrah Abraham’s ‘Teen Mom OG’ Co-Stars Maci, Amber And Catelynn Are ‘Jealous’

“Teen Mom OG” reality star Farrah Abraham has a tense relationship with her co-stars because they’re “jealous” of how MTV treats her. The sex tape star explained why she doesn’t get along with Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, who she has filmed with on “Teen Mom OG” for eight years.

“I get better treatment because I'm a hardworking business mogul and amazing mother who holds herself with respect and keeps production accountable and always goes above and beyond what is asked,” Abraham, 25, told Us Weekly Thursday. “And I stay above the trash they have on the show. Sadly, the girls are not taken seriously because of how they conduct themselves, and they're to blame, not me.” She added: “Maci, Catelynn and Amber conduct themselves unprofessionally, disrespectfully and immaturely. Since ‘16 and Pregnant,’ Amber has tried to fight me, and Maci and Catelynn have been jealous.”

Their volatile relationships boiled over during the “Teen Mom OG” reunion special, which was filmed in October. Abraham and her boyfriend, Simon Saran, said Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier, looked like a pedophile. That’s when Portwood stormed the stage and tried to attack Abraham. Her father, Michael Abraham, tried to protect his daughter.

Portwood was displeased with how MTV edited the incident. “So they cut out Michael literally screaming in my face calling me a bitch and him putting his hands on Matt's neck!!” Portwood tweeted Monday after the special aired on MTV. “After 8 years this is so disrespectful..I've worked too hard on myself to take this kind of disrespect.” She added on Twitter: “If I was going out there to hit her than I would have. Just wanted her to say it to my face and of course she didn't...let's be honest.”

Michael denied that he put his hands on Portwood. “I believe MTV did not edit anything,” he told Starcasm Wednesday. “They have no reason to do that. I did use verbal statements to draw Amber’s attention to me after Amber took the first punch at Farrah. It’s a technique that worked to protect Farrah. Note: NO ONE but Amber was throwing punches.”
