Fox’s “9-1-1” isn’t on tonight, but it’ll be back very, very soon.

Fans of the first responder drama only have to wait one more week until it comes back with Season 2, episode 14, titled “Broken.” Coming off of an intense few episodes centered around Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), her abusive husband, Doug (Brian Hallisay), and Chimney (Kenneth Choi), the show is getting back to mainly focusing on one-episode emergencies.

“When Metro LA's 9-1-1 system is hit with a massive system-wide power outage, the call center must go old school in responding to emergencies,” the synopsis for the new episode reveals. “The first responders must deal with explosions in multiple homes and a difficult child birth. Meanwhile, Michael [Rockmond Dunbar] confronts Bobby [Peter Krause] about parenting his kids.”

The trailer proves just how bad the situation is for the first responders in the upcoming episode. “We have multiple structure fires, please send everything you have,” fans can hear in the promo before seeing a house explode with a child still inside.

Find out how the professionals will handle everything when “9-1-1” returns with Season 2, episode 14 on Fox on April 15 at 9 p.m. EDT.
