Why Isn’t ‘Arrow’ On Tonight? Season 7, Episode 10 Air Date Revealed
“Arrow” Season 7 is officially on holiday break. The epic DC TV superhero crossover also served as a fall finale for each show. However, Oliver Queen and his team won’t be gone for long.
“Arrow” returns on Monday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Season 7, Episode 10, titled “Shattered Lives,” will be the midseason premiere.
The episode will focus on the cliffhanger from episode 8 — the new Green Arrow is Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) sister. Apparently, Robert Queen had another kid, Emiko (Sea Shimooka). While the comics had Shado as her mother, that seems pretty unlikely in the TV show. Fans will have to wait and see how the CW tweaks her origin story.
A promo video for the first “Arrow” episode of 2019 reveals that the team is learning more about the new archer. Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) tells Oliver, who is now assisting the SCPD, that they have evidence that could lead them closer to unmasking the vigilante.
Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is looking at some DNA structures on her computer and tells Oliver that his “mystery man is actually a woman.” The original Green Arrow is pretty surprised.
Rene (Rick Gonzalez), however, is clued into who Emiko is, at least when it comes to her identity as the new Green Arrow. He is having an unmasked conversation with her in the episode 10 trailer. “If Oliver Queen knew anything, it’s that you can’t save the city alone,” Rene says. Emiko insists that she isn’t Oliver, but it isn’t clear if Rene knows that Ollie is Emiko’s brother.
When it returns, “Arrow” will have a new partner in the Monday night lineup. “Black Lightning” will take over the 9 p.m. EST time slot while “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” goes on hiatus.
