Why Isn’t ‘Riverdale’ On Tonight? The CW Delays Season 3, Episode 6
You’ll have to wait a bit longer to see how the next round of “Gryphons and Gargoyles” ends because “Riverdale” isn’t airing a new episode tonight.
The CW show returns on Nov. 28 with Season 3, episode 6, titled “Chapter Forty-One: Manhunter.” Once you make it through Thanksgiving week without “Riverdale,” you’ll be treated to a new episode all about finding the Gargoyle King, Archie (KJ Apa) hiding out and more.
“After confronting the parents, who were part of ‘The Midnight Club’ twenty-five years ago, Betty (Lili Reinhart) follows some strong leads in hopes of finding out who the true Gargoyle King is,” the synopsis reveals. “Meanwhile, Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) attempt to prove Archie’s innocence lands her in hot water. Finally, Archie turns to Kevin (Casey Cott) for help making things right.”
The cast also includes Cole Sprouse (Jughead), Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl), Marisol Nichols (Hermione), Madchen Amick (Alice), Luke Perry (Fred), Ashleigh Murray (Josie), Mark Consuelos (Hiram), Skeet Ulrich (FP) and Charles Melton (Reggie). Rachel Talalay directed the episode, which was written by Cristine Chambers.
Instead of “Riverdale” tonight, a repeat showing of night one of the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival will air. Performances by Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons and more will be featured in the event’s rebroadcasting.
Season 3, episode 6 of “Riverdale” airs on The CW on Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. EST.
