Why Isn’t ‘This Is Us’ On Tonight? NBC Delays Season 3, Episode 14

“This Is Us” Season 3 is not on tonight. NBC has delayed episode 14 in order to air the season premiere of “World of Dance.”

“This Is Us” won’t be gone for long. Season 3, episode 14 will air next Tuesday, March 5 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.

Tonight, however, the network is hoping fans of the Pearson family enjoy competitive dancing. “World of Dance” Season 3 will have a two-hour premiere starting at 9 p.m. EST, in the post-“Ellen’s Game of Games” time slot. Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough judge the series, which will award one dancer a $1 million prize at the end of the season.

That means “This Is Us” fans have to wait after last week’s cliffhanger. After failing to get his uncle into rehab, Kevin (Justin Hartley) relapsed and started drinking again. It sound like he’ll be hiding the fact that he has fallen off the wagon.“Kevin keeps a secret from Zoe (Melanie Liburd),” the synopsis teases.

Episode 14 will also present a parenting challenge to Randall. It’s been a while since the show checked in with his adopted daughter Deja (Lyric Ross), but that will change next week. “Randall gets unexpected news about Deja,” the logline teases.

The episode will be titled “The Graduates” because the flashbacks will show the Kevin, Randall and Kate (Chrissy Metz) about to finish school. As fans know, Randall is the only one who heads off to college, so what are Kate and Kevin planning to do after getting their diplomas?

The promo video makes it clear that a lot more will be happening in this episode. Rebecca (Mandy Moore) will be grappling with Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) death when someone asks her on a date. In the present, Kate is shown going into the hospital. Is it time for her son to arrive? Viewers will have to wait until next week to find out.
