Jamie Lee Curtis is no longer open to baring it all in front of the camera.
Curtis, 63, recently recounted her infamous topless scene in 1983's "Trading Places" when she sat down with "People (The TV Show!)'s" Adrianna Costa for an interview. The actress said she "would absolutely not" appear naked on screen at this point in her career.
"I was 21 years old, and the part required Ophelia to take off her dress," she told Costa. "Did I like doing it? No. Did I feel embarrassed that I was doing it? Yes. Did I look OK? Yeah. Did I know what I was doing? Yeah. Did I like it? No. Was I doing it because it was the job? Yes."
Curtis continued, "I wouldn't do it today, it's the last thing in the world I would do now. I also am married for 37 years, I wasn't married then. I'm a mother of children. Absolutely not."
Curtis starred alongside Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy in the comedy classic. The film focused on a wealthy commodities broker (Aykroyd) and a down-on-his-luck street hustler (Murphy) who become the unwitting subjects of a bet to see how they fare when their circumstances are swapped.
Last year, Curtis also opened up during an interview on the "People in the '90s" podcast about her iconic striptease scene in 1994's "True Lies."
For the film, the actress stripped down and danced in front of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who played her husband Harry Tasker in the action-comedy movie. According to Curtis, she choreographed her dance and didn't rehearse before performing in front of the camera.
"The thing that nobody knows: There was no rehearsal, there is no choreographer," she said.
The actress also recalled watching the film alongside her dad, Tony Curtis. She remembered them being very quiet until the director, James Cameron, laughed.
"Thousands of people — and you know, it gets really quiet during that sequence, because it's a little sexy. Then when [Helen] falls and then gets back up, oh my God," she recalled. "The place, it was a huge … because you're anxious. Then the laugh, and it's all [Cameron]. To his great credit, it's all him. He knew, it's a comedy. It's a comedy."
Curtis returned to the big screen in October last year in "Halloween Kills," the latest sequel to the "Halloween" franchise.
